INTRODUCTION

  Created in early 2005, the company EPURAE is based in La Tour du Pin, in the department of Isère (38), between Lyon, Grenoble and Chambéry.

  EPURAE is specialized in the environmental purposes, and more mainly the elimination of air pollutions, in particular the odours.

  EPURAE implements in an industrial way a tested but innovating technology: coupling of absorption on activated carbon and regeneration of the absorptivity of this activated carbon by photocatalysis on titanium dioxide (TiO₂).

  The anti-odors covers CAPTAE is adapted to all the configuration (basins, purification stations, composting stations, pits with liquid manures...) in order to collect the odors, in the activated carbon and to destroy them, thanks to the solar energy (the ultraviolet ones), which activates TiO₂ for poluuants degradation by photocatalysis.

  The source of odorous and/or toxic emissions is covered hermetically thanks to PVC or floating structure, breathing being done through the active media, which leaves the evaporation going while trapping the odorous molecules (H₂S, Mercaptans, Ammoniac, Aldehydes, Cetones, Benzen...). These trapped organic molecules migrate through the activated carbon, by the free course of the molecules and under the influence of continuous flow, and is adsorbed on the surface of TiO₂ where it are degraded by successive oxidations releasing to the atmosphere only mineral and nontoxic molecules.

  Based on same technology, EPURAE has also developed a range of air purifiers, called AERAE, making it possible to eliminate, by photocatalysis, the problems of odors (smoked, crackling, chemicals...), the allergens (asthma), the nosocomial diseases (aurea staphilococcus, salmonella...). The media combining absorption on activated carbon and photocatalysis on TiO₂ is activated by one or more UV A lamp, it traps the pollutants of air which are degraded by photocatalysis.

  The anti-odours cover CAPTAE and the air purifier AERAE are innovating, ecological and effective solutions for olfactory pollutions elimination.
