AERAE 50 is the first air purifier developed and manufactured by EPURAE, based on photo-catalytic technology. The apparatus is constituted of a quiet ventilator (27 dB), and of an active cartridge containing the active media (combining absorption on activated carbon and photo-catalytic degradation on TiO2) and of two UV A lamps. The UV active the TiO2 catalyst, thus allowing to destroy by successive oxidations the organic molecules (odors, allergens, bacteria) collected by the activated carbon. As well as the anti-odours CAPTAE covers, degradation by photocatalysis of the pollutants regenerates continuously the absorptivity of the activated carbon in order to give it a long shelf life. The apparatus AERAE 50 draft a 50 m3/h volume so it is very adapted for the 25 m3 rooms, in order to ensure a total renewal 2 times per hour. Thanks to the immediate effect of the activated carbon combined with photo-catalytic regeneration, the effectiveness of the apparatus on the odours of tobacco, crackling, chemicals... is very fast and allows a decontamination of the polluted rooms. The shelf life of an AERAE active cartridge is 7 000 hours (nearly 2 years and half at a rate of 8 hours per day). Esthetics, quiet and effective, AERAE 50 can be used everywhere to cure the problems of odors in the houses, on our working place or in the bars and restaurants. AERAE 50, like the other apparatuses of the AERAE range, eliminates also some allergens (in particular those responsible for asthma) as well as a lot of bacteria (salmonella, gilded staphilococcus...).
